CNBC and Financial Advisor Names Ferguson Wellman to 2023 RIA Ranking

Ferguson Wellman and West Bearing were named by CNBC and Financial Advisor to their “FA 100: Top-Rated Financial Advisory Firms of 2023” ranking. The firm was listed at 21 of 100 companies. 

The survey was prepared in partnership with AccuPoint Solutions, and the firms considered were analyzed by their compliance record, years in business, total assets under management and number of accounts. A total of 40,646 registered investment advisers (RIA) in the AccuPoint database was then culled to a list of 812 RIAs.  The remaining companies were then surveyed to collect more data, then CNBC sorted the firms by their proprietary and weighted process to arrive at the final 100 firms. CNBC and Financial Advisor do not charge advisors any type of fee to be listed in this ranking.

Methodology and Disclosure from Financial Advisor:

CNBC and Financial Advisor produced this list by gathering data from ADV forms filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Next, they used data received via survey from each firm that included assets under management, number of accounts and other proprietary weighted categorization to refine the list and rank them from 1 to 100 (January 1, 2022-January 1, 2023). Ferguson Wellman (the firm) is not aware of any facts that would call into question the validity of the ranking. The firm does not believe this advertisement is inappropriate and is not aware of any unfavorable rating towards the firm. The rating category is FA 100 top-rated financial advisory firms of 2023. CNBC and FA considered 40,646 advisers and the considered number of firms was then cut to 812, then to 100. The percentage of advisers that received the rating of top RIAs by CNBC and Financial Advisor was .024%.
