Wealth Management

Wealth management is the coordination of the critical aspects of a client's financial life into a cohesive plan built around their goals. Every client is at a distinct point in their wealth planning journey, facing unique opportunities and challenges. Our approach is collaborative by design: our portfolio managers work closely with each client, our internal team of wealth planners and the client's tax, legal, and other professional advisors to manage, protect and grow their wealth in alignment with what matters most to them.

Wealth Planning

At the center of our comprehensive, client-centered approach is our Wealth Horizon™. It is the disciplined process through which we assess a client's wealth plan in its entirety—their goals and values, financial resources and cash flows, retirement and life span, tax considerations and the many variables that shape their financial picture. As a client's goals, circumstances, and priorities evolve, we revisit their plan—assessing their current position, planning for future changes and identifying strategies to help them achieve their goals.

Retirement

Retirement planning is a dynamic and evolving process. Whether saving for, transitioning into or already enjoying retirement, there are important decisions to be made along the way. We help our clients prepare for and navigate retirement by assessing resources, modeling sustainable spending, identifying tax-efficient strategies and advising on fundamental decisions such as Social Security claiming strategies, retirement plan distributions and executive compensation.

Life Events

As life evolves, significant events such as expanding a family, selling a business or losing a loved one occur with nuanced personal and financial implications. We help our clients plan for key life events in advance or respond quickly when the unexpected occurs, assessing the financial impact and evaluating or adjusting strategies in response.

Tax Efficiency

Tax efficiency is integral to preserving and growing wealth. We employe portfolio strategies such as tax-loss harvesting, capital gains management, and tax-efficient trading. We partner with clients’ tax advisors to evaluate broader tax savings opportunities in areas such as estate, gift, and charitable planning.

Trust and Estate Considerations

We work with clients and their legal and tax advisors to help align their estate planning with their goals, values and legacy, and to support strategic decisions in multigenerational trust structures.

Philanthropic Strategies

Charitable giving can be a meaningful way to express values and legacy. We help clients define their charitable goals, evaluate giving within their broader wealth plan, and identify tax-efficient strategies designed to maximize impact.

Education Planning and Funding

Education is important to many individuals and families we serve. We can help plan ahead to meet education goals; including projecting savings requirements, evaluating savings vehicles, or identifying the strategies best suited to their circumstances.

Risk Management

We evaluate potential risks to our client’s wealth and long-term goals, from major life transitions and liability exposure to gaps in protection, and work with a variety of specialists to identify and evaluate strategies to manage and mitigate these risks.
