Peter Jones, CFA, joined Ferguson Wellman in 2015 and is senior vice president of equity research and portfolio management, serving as analyst and member of the firm’s investment team and Investment Policy Committee. Peter leads the firm’s Global Sustainable Investing strategy and manages the communication services, industrial and basic material sectors. In addition, he maintains the multifactor model used by the investment team for its equity selection process. He works with clients concentrated in Portland and throughout Washington and Oregon. Peter is also a shareholder of the firm.
Peter is a Portland native and graduated from the University of Portland with a B.A. in political science and minors in Spanish and psychology. While attending college, he played tennis for the Pilots. Peter serves on the board of directors of Morrison Child & Family Services. Prior to joining Ferguson Wellman, he was employed at UBS Financial Services.
In his free time, Peter and his wife enjoy playing tennis, golf, skiing and traveling.
