Nate Putnam is a senior vice president of portfolio and wealth management for West Bearing Investments. He joined the firm in 2021 and works with individual and institutional clients concentrated in Oregon and Washington. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®) and adheres to a disciplined approach and process to fully understand his clients’ goals and then provide the best financial and investment counsel. Nate is a member of the firm’s wealth management team and a shareholder of the firm.
Prior to joining West Bearing, Nate worked as an advisor for TIAA serving clients throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California. He earned his B.S. in international business from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and studied at the London School of Economics and Nanzan University Nagoya as part of his undergraduate program. Nate serves as chair of the associate board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area.
A native of Portland, Nate lives in Southwest Portland with his wife and two sons. In his time away from the office he enjoys being with family, playing golf, traveling and following the Portland Trailblazers.
