Ralph Cole, CFA

Ralph Cole, CFA, is a director and portfolio manager at Ferguson Wellman, based in Portland, Oregon. He joined the firm in 1998 and works with clients concentrated in Portland, Vancouver, Eugene, and Bend, Oregon, as well as throughout California and Colorado. Ralph is a member of the firm’s board of directors, investment and trading team, and portfolio management team, leads the firm’s diversity council and is a shareholder of the firm.

Before joining Ferguson Wellman, he was an investment officer for U.S. Bancorp of Oregon and Washington and a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch. While pursuing his master’s degree, he worked at Payden & Rygel Investment Council in Los Angeles, where he assisted in the development of two mutual funds.
