Jason Norris, CFA, joined the firm in 2001 and is a member of the equity team managing the global technology and healthcare sectors, as well as assisting with the basic materials sector. Norris is a portfolio manager with clients concentrated in Portland, Spokane, Twin Falls and Boise. He manages the firm’s Dividend Value investment strategy and is a member of the firm’s Global Sustainable Investing strategy team. He is also responsible for voting our clients’ proxies. He is a frequent guest blogger for Oregon Business Magazine, as well as a regular participant in “Barron’s Big Money Poll.”
Prior to joining Ferguson Wellman, Norris was an equity analyst with Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York City. He focused primarily on the technology and telecommunications sectors for the Morgan Stanley Market Leader Trust Fund and the Morgan Stanley Information Fund. Norris received his B.B.A. in economics from Boise State University. He continued his education earning an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame where he also served as an investment research assistant.
Norris is a member of the board, treasurer, investment committee member and regular classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement. Norris enjoys traveling with his wife and daughters in his spare time.
