Prior to joining Ferguson Wellman, he worked for Kidder Peabody Asset Management and E.F. Hutton & Co. in New York City. Dean is a principal shareholder of the firm. \r\n\r\nFrom 1994 to 2022, Dean served on our board of directors when the company experienced significant growth. He was instrumental in establishing and managing our alternative investment strategies for clients. In addition to his investment acumen, Dean is a colorful writer who has consistently contributed to our quarterly Market Letter.\r\n\r\nBorn and raised in New York, Dean earned his B.A. in finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
