THROUGH OREGON HISTORICAL SOCIETY,

we discovered a treasure of imagery that exceeded our expectations.

Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius

Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius

Glass lantern slides were first used in the 17th century to project hand-painted images. In 1849, lantern slides were used to project photography. Images were still hand-painted, typically by women, with the most delicate of brushes.

Glass lantern slide images can be seen on our website where Marcus Aurelius, the Roman emperor on Ferguson Wellman’s coin logo, is quoted. Many of these beautiful images represent areas where our individual and institutional clients reside.

Equally important to the look and feel of our website is functionality. We hope that you are able to find the information you are seeking about Ferguson Wellman, Octavia Group and West Bearing Investments. Please reach out to us if we can help you in anyway by contacting info@fergwell.com or (800) 327-5765.
